Course Definitions

Online: These courses are facilitated entirely online via UCSB Canvas, which is an interactive course management system. The course is self-paced, but there are still due dates and all assignments must be completed prior to the end date of the course.

Videoconference: Some courses offered in an online format have scheduled meeting times. These meeting times are hosted virtually through Zoom or similar video conferencing technology.

Blended: These courses meet in a traditional classroom during scheduled sessions, but there are also required online interactions outside regular scheduled sessions to enhance the learning experience.
