A certificate is awarded upon completion of the 4 required courses totaling 16 units (or 144 hours of instruction), listed in the Program Schedule each with a letter grade of “C" or better and an average grade of B or better across all courses . All requirements must be completed within five (5) years after the student enrolls in his/her first course. Students not pursuing a certificate are welcome to take as many individual courses as they wish.

To become an official candidate in the program, students must have upper-division standing and complete the Program Application. 

To receive a certificate of completion, upon completion of all required courses, students must submit a Request for TMP Certificate Release.
