Is BACB the same as ABAI?

• BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) is the board governing the BCBA/BCaBA certification exam.  BACB’s goal is to “meet professional credentialing needs identified by behavior analysts, governments, and consumers of behavior analysis services.” 
• ABAI (Association for Behavior Analysis International) is “the primary membership organization for those interested in the philosophy, science, application, and teaching of behavior analysis.” ABAI is responsible for verifying university programs that fulfill BACB’s coursework requirements.
