What health insurance is required for participants?   
All participants must have health insurance coverage for the duration of their stay. We can provide information on available insurance plans that meet university requirements.

What health services are available on campus?   
UCSB has a comprehensive Student Health Center that provides medical care, counseling services, and health education, however not available for visiting students. Emergency medical services are also readily available in the Santa Barbara area.

What safety measures are in place for international students?   
UCSB has a dedicated campus police department, emergency response systems, and safety protocols. We provide safety orientations for all participants.
