Additional Privileges

If you are an Open University student, you are not considered a matriculated UCSB student; instead you are considered a UCSB Extension student. Your Open University student status qualifies you for these benefits offered on UCSB's campus:

• Recreation Center memberships are available for a quarterly fee. 
• Use of main campus Library
• 200 free prints per quarter at these locations.
• Computer equipment and software purchases are possible at discounted prices at the UCSB Bookstore if students are enrolled in six or more units in one quarter. For questions, you can contact them at (805) 893-3538.

Note: Students are not eligible for UCSB student health insurance, fee discounts on event tickets, or other privileges that matriculated students receive.
