Many professional courses have enrollment maximums because of limited classroom space or due to instructor request. If you have tried to enroll once a maximum enrollment is reached, you will be asked if you would like to be placed on a waiting list. You will be automatically notified if and when space becomes available in the class.

Students on a waiting list for a professional course are NOT to attend class without receiving notice from Student Services Office that space has become available.

Open University Courses

Wait lists are available only to students enrolled in degree programs at UCSB, and wait lists are not available to Open University students.
